OU landed its third transfer addition of the offseason in senior guard from Texas A&M, Pop Isaacs.

Isaacs averaged 9.8 points, 2.5 rebounds and 2.6 assists across 33 games for Texas A&M during the 2025–26 season, shooting a career-best 39.6% from three-point range.

Prior to Texas A&M, Isaacs appeared in eight games at Creighton during the 2024–25 season. With the Bluejays he averaged 16.3 points, 4.8 rebounds and 3.9 assists before suffering a season-ending hip injury.

The senior began his collegiate career at Texas Tech, where he averaged 13.9 points per game across two seasons. As a sophomore, Isaacs averaged 15.8 points per game, leading the team in scoring.

Isaacs is expected to factor into OU’s backcourt rotation as the Sooners continue to rebuild their roster through the transfer portal. Isaacs will join former Utah Valley guard Tyler Hendricks and former Louisville forward Khani Rooths as the third transfer this offseason for the Sooners.
