Oklahoma Sooners-LSU Tigers men's basketball

OU men's basketball head coach Porter Moser during the game against LSU on Feb. 15, 2025.

OU men’s basketball landed its second transfer player of the offseason in Tyler Hendricks, per On3’s Pete Nakos.

Hendricks, a 6-foot-6-inch rising senior guard from Utah Valley University, averaged 11.8 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.9 assists across 28 games for the Wolverines in the 2025-26 season. Prior to his lone season at Utah Valley, Hendricks spent two seasons at the University of Central Florida, where he appeared in 40 games with eight starts.

His addition comes as the Sooners look to reload a roster that has already seen nine departures — five graduating seniors and four transfers — and joins Louisville transfer rising junior forward Khani Rooths as the second transfer in OU’s 2026 class.

Hendricks is expected to team with rising junior guard Dayton Forsythe and rising senior guard Xzayvier Brown to form OU’s backcourt group for the 2026-27 season.
