Oklahoma women's basketball moved up one spot in the AP Poll on Monday.

After being ranked at No. 9 for two consecutive weeks, OU jumped to No. 8. This is the first time since 2007 that the Sooners have ranked at eight. 

In the 2024-25 season, Oklahoma has remained undefeated. It has allowed its five opponents to shoot 31% or less from the floor and is currently ranked second in the country in opponent field goal percentage at 28%. On offense, Oklahoma is ranked eighth in the nation, scoring an average of 92 points per game.

During the Sooners' last game, when they played UNLV, OU held its opponent to a 21.2% shooting in the second half.

Oklahoma (5-0) will open up the Ball Dawgs Classic against DePaul (2-3) at 4:30 p.m. on Monday at the Lee’s Family Forum in Henderson, Nevada.
