Former OU pitcher Paytn Monticelli entered the transfer portal and committed to LSU on Monday.

Monticelli spent two seasons in Norman after transferring from Wisconsin in 2024. She appeared in 34 games and started three. 

In 2024, Monticelli had a 1.09 earned run average in 19.1 innings while striking out 23 batters. Monticelli posted a 3.94 ERA in 21.1 innings in 2025 and struck out 20 batters.

OU has lost five players to the portal, and has picked up pitchers Sydney Berzon from LSU and Miali Guachino from Mississippi.
