Junior Giselle Juarez pitched a perfect game as No. 2 Oklahoma (21-2) beat Loyola Marymount (9-7) 14-0 via run rule on Thursday in Los Angeles.

Juarez pitched all five innings the Sooners played in and struck out six of the batters, not allowing a single person to reach base. This was the 13th perfect game in Oklahoma history.

Offensively, the Sooners recorded one of their most impressive outings of the season. In the five innings, Oklahoma had 14 base hits and only two strikeouts.

Freshman Jocelyn Alo had the most impressive day at bat. She went 3-4, blasted a deep solo home run and also had seven RBIs. Senior Sydney Romero, junior Nicole Mendes and sophomore Elyiah Flores also had two RBIs.

Senior Caleigh Clifton and Sophomore Lynnsie Elam each had one RBI.

This was the Sooners second win of the day. They will play again on Friday against Dartmouth at noon in Los Angeles.
