Oklahoma-Alabama men's basketball

OU basketball head coach Porter Moser during the game against Alabama on Jan. 17.

Oregon State transfer center Yaak Yaak committed to OU men's basketball on Monday, per 247 Sports, Brody Lusk’s announcement on X.

Yaak, a 6-foot-11-inch center, appeared in 25 games for the Beavers, starting nine of them. He averaged 6.6 points, 2.2 rebounds and 0.5 blocks per game in the 2025-26 season. Yaak previously played Division II basketball at Colorado Mesa, then transferred to New Mexico State before playing for Oregon State this past season.

Yaak's addition marks OU's fourth transfer portal commitment and helps retool a Sooners roster that lost nine total players this offseason, including four transfers and five graduating seniors.
