Class of 2027 running back Jaxsen Stokes has committed to OU, per his announcement on X.

Stokes is a three-star recruit, the No. 40 recruit in the state of California and the No. 28 running back in his class. Through eight games in Stokes' junior season, he has 598 yards rushing with 12 rushing touchdowns, along with 10 receptions, 143 yards, and two touchdowns through the air.

Stokes chose the Sooners over Notre Dame, Oregon and Tennessee, marking OU's sixth commit in the 2027 class and giving OU the No. 1 recruiting class in 2027, per 247 Sports.
