Oklahoma earned a commitment from 2025 4-star running back Tory Blaylock on Friday.

Blaylock is the son of former NFL running back Derrick Blaylock, who played with Kansas City, the New York Jets and Washington from 2001-2007. His oldest brother, Travian, played safety at Wisconsin before entering the 2024 NFL Draft this offseason. Tory’s older brother, Taylen, is a defensive back at Lindenwood University.

Attending Atascocita High School in Humble, Texas, Tory finished the 2023 season with 89 carries for 616 rushing yards and 11 rushing touchdowns. He also made an impact as a receiver, garnering 19 receptions, 268 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

Tory chose the Sooners over offers from Ohio State, Texas, Alabama, Texas A&M and others. The Houston native is ranked as the No. 22 running back nationally and the No. 47 best player in Texas, according to On3’s Industry Ranking.

He joins 4-star wide receiver Elijah Thomas, 4-star offensive tackle Ryan Fodje, 4-star quarterback Kevin Sperry and six others in OU’s 12th ranked 2025 recruiting class. Tory is the first running back to commit to the Sooners in the upcoming recruiting cycle.
