OU guard Xzayvier Brown will represent the Sooners at the 2026 Chris Paul Elite Guard Camp, becoming just the second player in program history to earn an invitation to the exclusive event.

The invite-only camp, held June 30 through July 3 in Las Vegas, brings together 12 of the nation’s top collegiate guards for on-court instruction and mentorship from 21-year NBA veteran Chris Paul. The camp is widely regarded as one of the premier development opportunities for backcourt players preparing for the professional level.

Brown joins an accomplished list of past attendees that includes Golden State Warriors and four-time NBA champion guard Stephen Curry, Oklahoma City Thunder guard and back-to-back MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, New York Knicks guard and 2026 Finals MVP Jalen Brunson, former Sooner and now Washington Wizard guard Trae Young and Thunder guard Jared McCain.

The rising senior started all 37 games for OU during the 2025-26 season, averaging 15.4 points, 3.3 assists and 3.2 rebounds per game. He also led the team in free-throw percentage at 87.4%, ranking third in the Southeastern Conference.

The camp has also served as a springboard to the NBA. Two participants from the 2025 camp, Bennett Stirtz (Iowa) and Kingston Flemings (Houston), were selected in the 2026 NBA Draft and now play for the Thunder and Hawks, respectively.
