College World Series Game 3

Junior outfielders Jason Walk and Dasan Harris during Game 3 of the College World Series against North Carolina on June 22, 2026.

OMAHA, Neb. — Junior outfielder Dasan Harris kept No. 5 North Carolina scoreless with a cross field throw that beat the runner at third.

The Tar Heels had two runners on base, one in scoring position, in the bottom of the second inning with two outs. UNC looked to score as senior outfielder Rom Kellis V hit a single off of OU freshman pitcher Nick Wesloski, but Harris had other plans than to let the Tar Heels chip into OU's 2-0 lead.

Harris made the clutch play, throwing out senior outfielder Carter French all the way from right field to third base. The out was just in time to waive off junior infielder Erik Paulsen's score at home, leaving UNC empty handed for a second straight inning.
