OU announced Friday its men's and women's basketball teams will play their Bedlam doubleheader against Oklahoma State at Paycom Center in Oklahoma City on Dec. 12 in 2026.
OU swept 2025's Bedlam doubleheader in Oklahoma City, increasing its win streak to four consecutive games for the men and seven straight in the women's series.
Last season, head coach Porter Moser's Sooners defeated Oklahoma State 85-76 in OKC behind 21 points from rising senior guard Xzayvier Brown. The Sooners lead the all-time men's series, 145-106.
Last season, OU women won 92-70 in the Bedlam matchup behind a combined 33 points and 13 assists from returning Sooners forward Sahara Williams and guard Aaliyah Chavez. The OU women own a 70-47 advantage in the all-time series and have not lost to Oklahoma State under head coach Jennie Baranczyk.
The in-state rivals have met at least once every season in men's basketball since 1927-28, while the women squared off annually from 1975 to 2024 before resuming the series in 2025. Both men's and women's basketball programs have maintained the series since OU's move to the SEC in July 2024, despite each school's football team not doing so.
Fans can attend both games with a single ticket. OU season ticket holders will receive an email with information on a presale, which will begin 10 a.m. July 27, while general public tickets go on sale through Ticketmaster on Aug. 7. Students will receive ticket details after the start of the fall semester.
Game times will be announced at a later date.
