OU redshirt sophomore offensive lineman Eddy Pierre-Louis spoke to the media on Monday, eager to continue to grow heading into the 2026 season.

Pierre-Louis, a former three-star recruit in the 2024 class, appeared in all 13 games during the 2025 season and made six starts at left guard. With two years under his belt, Pierre-Louis said he is ready to step up as a vocal leader on the offensive line.

“It comes pretty natural,” Pierre-Louis said. “I’ve been very vocal recently.”

The redshirt sophomore will line up alongside a cast of returning starters that include sophomore tackle Michael Fasusi, redshirt senior center Jake Maikkula and sophomore guard Ryan Fodje. The continuity of having a majority of the same offensive line from a season before is something Pierre-Louis was quick to highlight as important.

“We already have a correlation,” Pierre-Louis said. “Now we're all together, and we're bringing in a lot of other guys as well.”

The “other guys” he mentioned include Arkansas senior transfer E’Marion Harris, a projected starter at right tackle. Harris started 11 games in 2025 and all 13 for the Razorbacks in 2024.

With continuity and added experience, the focus this spring for Pierre-Louis has shifted to refining technique and building consistency in his role.

“I’ve been working on my flexibility every day, having a consistent basis, like working on my stretches each and every day,” Pierre-Louis said.

Pierre-Louis’ improvement has come not only physically but mentally as well.

“My discipline (has improved),” Pierre-Louis said. “You don’t have to be up (at the top) each and every day, but you have to continuously make small, good improvements. And that's been the main thing.”

As spring progresses, Pierre-Louis’ growth will play a key role in shaping an offensive line that looks to take a step forward. With experience returning and new pieces fitting in, the group is looking to establish itself as a reliable force in 2026.
