Oklahoma football: Joe Mixon attends Samaje Perine's wedding

A former Oklahoma running back duo was back together this weekend when Joe Mixon attended Samaje Perine's wedding. 

Mixon and Perine played together during the 2015 and 2016 seasons, becoming one of the best running back duos in the country. Mixon ran for 2,027 yards in his two years before being drafted in the second round by the Cincinnati Bengals. Perine became the Sooners' all-time leading rusher in his three years, with 4,122 yards and was drafted by Washington in the  fourth round. Together, Mixon and Perine combined for 78 touchdowns. 

Perine isn't the only former Sooner to become a newly wed recently, with former wide receiver Sterling Shepard getting married earlier this month.
