Nevada head coach and former Oklahoma assistant Jay Norvell spoke Tuesday afternoon about his reaction to Bob Stoops' retirement.

Norvell was the Sooners' wide receivers coach under Stoops from 2010-2015. After he was let go in 2015, he was hired by Texas and given play-calling duties, and was then hired by Arizona State in 2016 as their wide receivers coach. At the end of last season, it was announced Norvell would be Nevada's next head coach.
