Oklahoma football: Ahmad Thomas signs with the Oakland Raiders

Former Oklahoma safety Ahmad Thomas has signed with the Oakland Raiders as an undrafted free agent. 

The Miami, FL native was a three year starter for the Sooners, making 149 unassisted tackles and 74 assisted tackles in his career.

He also totaled one fumble recovery, four interceptions and five tackles for loss in his time with the Sooners. Thomas made a season high 11 tackles in Oklahoma’s 66-59 win over Texas Tech in the 2016 season.

 Thomas was named All Big 12 First Team his junior season and was an All Big 12 honorable mention in his senior season.

Thomas will now continue his career with the Oakland Raiders.
