March 7, 2015: No. 15 Oklahoma 75, No. 9 Kansas 73
In one of the more exhilarating finishes in the Oklahoma-Kansas series, the Sooners upended the Jayhawks in the second game of the teams' home-and-home series.
After Kansas guard Frank Mason III converted a pair of late-game free throws to tie the game at 73, the Sooners had 5.4 seconds to run the length of the floor for a last-second shot. Guard Jordan Woodard ran full-court and attempted a right-hand floater.
The layup reeled off the side of the rim, but guard Buddy Hield swooped from the perimeter to deliver the game-winning tip-in.
The game ended with Hield and the team running to opposite end of the floor to celebrate with the student section.
February 9, 2013: Oklahoma 72, No. 5 Kansas 66
While the Sooners were off to an optimistic 12-3 start, Oklahoma headed into this early Febrarury matchup on a 10-game series losing streak against Kansas.
Forward Romero Osby contributed a game-high 17 points while guard Steven Pledger filed in 15. The game was secured by then-freshman guard Buddy Hield with a steal and an after-the-buzzer two-hand slam to elicit a court storming in Norman.
February 21, 2005: No. 22 Oklahoma 71, No. 8 Kansas 63
The Sooners pounced on the Jayhawks early in this midseason matchup.
Oklahoma possessed a 15-point lead by the break and held Kansas to just 22 points at the half. Freshman guard David Godbold broke out against the eighth-ranked Jayhawks, posting 15 points and seven rebounds.
Oklahoma’s eight-point victory spiraled Kansas into its third consecutive loss.
February 24, 2003: No. 5 Oklahoma 77, No. 6 Kansas 70
Oklahoma hit the ground running in this home matchup against Kansas. The Sooners led 47-26 at the half and gained a 32-point lead four minutes into the second half.
The Jayhawks made a strong rally, but guards Hollis Price and Quannas White’s pair of 19-point outings secured the win for the Sooners. This win extended the Sooners' home winning streak to a nation-best 36 games.
March 10, 2002: No. 4 Oklahoma 64, No. 1 Kansas 55
Poised to take a run at a top seed in the NCAA Tournament, the fourth-ranked Sooners faced the top-seeded Jayhawks and their trio of future NBA prospects in the Big 12 title game.
The Sooners held the nation’s leading offense to just 19 points in the first half. Oklahoma put on a defensive clinic, holding conference All-American guard Kirk Hinrich to just four points.
Guard Hollis Price won Big 12 Tournament MVP with 23 points.
