Norman High School (6-1) will host Deer Creek High School (6-1) on Friday.

After winning 42-35 against Moore High School on Oct. 17, the Tigers strive to continue their offensive prowess in this week’s contest.  

For Norman, key contributors include senior quarterback Phoenix Murphy, junior wide receiver Ryder Murphy and junior tight end Crew Noles.

In the win against Moore, Phoenix Murphy threw for two touchdowns and rushed into the end zone twice, showcasing his ability to make plays on the move.  Ryder Murphy and Noles also contributed with one touchdown and two touchdowns, respectively.

As far as Deer Creek’s standouts, senior quarterback Grady Adamson and senior wide receiver Mason Smith lead the way. 

In Deer Creek’s 30-20 win against Moore on Oct. 11, Adamson threw for 185 yards and two touchdowns and finished with a 77.3 pass completion percentage.  Smith completed two touchdowns as well.

Norman will kick off against Deer Creek at 7 p.m. on Friday at Harve Collins Stadium in Norman.
