With OU women’s basketball’s 2026 offseason in full swing, here’s a timeline of its transfer portal moves:

May 2

Junior forward Sa'Myah Smith joined OU as the fourth transfer player and second forward transfer of the 2026 offseason.

The 6-foot-2 junior averaged 7.9 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.4 assists in her lone season at Virginia after spending her first three seasons at LSU. She took a medical redshirt during her sophomore year at LSU after tearing her ACL in the seventh game of the 2023-24 season.

Smith posted a 23 point and 11 rebound double-double in the second round of the 2026 NCAA women's tournament helping UVA reach its 13th sweet 16 in program history.

April 23

Junior forward Isimenme Ozzy-Momodu joined OU as the third transfer player and first non-guard transfer of the 2026 offseason.

Ozzy-Momodu, a London Native, is the Sooners’ third international player, teaming up with Ireland native freshman forward Emma Tolan and freshman center Daffa Cissoko from Paris. In her junior season at Maryland, Ozzy-Momodu played 31 games, started 21 and averaged eight points, 6.4 rebounds and a block per game.

The 6-foot-3 junior teams up with sophomore Caya Smith, Tolan, Cissoko, freshman forward Brooklyn Stewart and junior forward Sahara Williams to form OU’s frontcourt group for the 2026-27 season.

April 14

OU added its second transfer player of the offseason in freshman guard Jordan Speiser.

Speiser spent her freshman season at Kansas State where she appeared in 37 games and started three, while averaging 10.2 points, 3.5 rebounds and 22.9 minutes per game. In high school, she ranked as a five-star prospect and the No. 17 overall player in the 2025 class, according to 247Sports. At Lutheran High School in Warrenton, Mo., Speiser was named the 2023-24 Gatorade Missouri Girls Basketball Player of the Year. She also earned McDonald’s All-American recognition.

April 13

The Sooners added their first transfer player of the 2026 offseason in freshman guard Keeley Parks.

The Norman native announced her homecoming after spending one season at Kansas in which she saw limited action due to injuries prior to and during the 2025-26 season. Parks appeared in 16 games for Kansas last season, making nine starts and averaging 5.1 points, 0.9 rebounds and 1.1 assists.

At Norman High School, Parks was a three-year varsity player, who averaged 24.6 points, 7.6 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 5.4 steals across 69 games. As a senior, she averaged 25.4 points, 8.6 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 5.1 steals and helped lead the Tigers to the OSSAA Class 6A state tournament semifinals.

April 4

Sophomore guard Zya Vann entered the transfer portal, becoming the fourth player to depart Norman during the offseason but just the first to enter the transfer portal.

Vann was an emerging star in her sophomore season, contributing 10.4 points, 4.2 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 2.1 steals per game across 34 games. She was also part of a tight-knit starting group that opened every game of the season and was a vital part of head coach Jennie Baranczyk’s offense throughout the season.

Vann joined arch-rival Texas on April 17, becoming the first Sooner to transfer to the Longhorns in program history, according to On3.
