Spring Egg Hunt at Andrews Park, 5 to 7 p.m. Friday: Join Norman Parks and Recreation for their annual Spring Egg Hunt. The free event will feature a food truck, yard games, snow cones and photo opportunities with the Spring Bunny at Andrews Park.

"The Birds," 8 p.m. Friday and 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. Saturday: Two unlikely heroes flee the modern world, arriving in the fabled land of the birds seeking freedom and a better way of life in an Indigenous retelling of the classic Greek comedy by Aristophanes. "Two Prosecutors," 8 p.m. Friday, 5:30 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday: Set in the Soviet Union in 1937, the film follows an idealistic lawyer who wants to expose the mistreatment of an imprisoned writer, making him a target of Stalin’s police state. Stories & Specimens, 11 a.m. to noon Saturday until May 1, Norman: Families are invited to gather for an engaging program with museum objects for children to touch, connecting stories to science and cultural history. The experience is free with admission at Sam Noble Museum of Natural History.
Route 66: From Trails to Truck Stops, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday until May 3, Oklahoma City: The National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum’s exhibition tells the story of the historic Route 66, which was part of the first federal highway system and became a symbol of freedom and adventure. Jakian Parks: The Black Land, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Monday until June 1, Oklahoma City: Visit artist Jakian Parks’ latest exhibition exploring the history and cultural legacy of Black equestrianism at Oklahoma Contemporary Arts Center. The museum is free to attend and tickets are not required.
