Undergraduate Student Congress discusses budget cuts, emergency allocations

SGA Congress representatives vote on whether to further debate a bill condemning Gov. Mary Fallin's statements on Syrian refugees. The meeting lasted about three hours.

The Undergraduate Student Congress will meet tonight at 7 p.m. in Devon Hall. A few items on the agenda:

  • a resolution addressing budget cuts in Oklahoma, noting that the congress doesn't support cuts to STEM initiatives and Advanced Placement funding

  • an act expelling a member for excessive absences

  • emergency allocations to student groups
