Two new housing developments, including a proposed affordable housing space, will be discussed at a pre-planning discussion on Sept. 28.
The city of Norman submitted a request to develop 4.99 acres at the northeast corner of Imhoff Road and Oakhurst Avenue for a 75-unit affordable housing space. The complex would be called the Crimson Flats.
Other housing proposals include two multi-family residential structures at 221 E. Boyd Street, filed by 208 Apache LLC, and at 305 E. Boyd Street, filed by CCR Boyd LLC.
Rieger Law Group serves as the attorney for both 208 Apache LLC and CCR Boyd LLC.
208 Apache LLC requested to develop a parcel of land generally located on 221 E. Boyd St. with the intent to create a multi-family residential structure with five residential units. The total buildable area will be 13,400 square feet.
CCR Boyd LLC also submitted a request for a multi-family residential structure on 305 E. Boyd St. The residential development plan will include seven units with a total buildable area of 18,071 square feet.
Both pre-development meetings will be held on Sept. 28. The meeting about the affordable housing complex will be from 6:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. in Council Chambers in the Norman Municipal Building. The meetings for the multi-family residential structures requested by 208 Apache LLC and CCR Boyd LLC will be at 6:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., respectively, in Conference Room B of the Norman Development Center.
Both matters will appear before the Norman Planning Commission during its Oct. 12 meeting.
