OU Health Campus

The Seed Sower statue at OU Health Campus in 2016, then called the OU Health Sciences Center.

A person was found dead in a bathroom at OU Health Monday morning.

Environmental services, the custodial service, discovered the person when attempting to clean a private visitor bathroom.

Environmental services found the door locked and received no response when knocking. They later unlocked the door, following university policy.

The individual was discovered on the floor inside the bathroom.

First responders were immediately dispatched to the scene and pronounced the person dead.

The individual's name and cause of death have not yet been released. OU Health wrote it is working closely with investigators as they review the case in an emailed statement to the OU Daily.

“We are deeply saddened by this loss,” OU Health said.
