The OU Board of Regents approved the salaries of recent football hires Nate Dreiling and Jim Nagy, as well as raises and contract extensions for safeties coach Brandon Hall and volleyball coach Aaron Mansfield Monday afternoon.

The regents passed an agreement to employ defensive assistant and linebackers coach Nate Dreiling through Jan. 31, 2027 with a base salary of $285,000. His contract includes an additional $165,000 annually for athletics-related events and activities. Dreiling will receive a $90,000 bonus if the team wins the College Football Playoff National Championship.

Oklahoma announced Dreiling to the staff on Feb. 1st, nearly a month after he was hired as Arkansas State’s defensive coordinator. Prior to that, he was the defensive coordinator and interim head coach at Utah State.

Regents also approved general manager Jim Nagy’s base salary of $300,000 annually with a contract that extends through January 31, 2028. The agreement includes an additional income of $450,000 annually for athletics-related engagements and activities. Nagy will receive a salary raise to $550,000 on Feb. 1, 2026 and an increase to $650,000 on Feb. 1, 2027. He will also receive a bonus of $250,000 for winning the CFP National Championship.

Hall’s contract was extended through Jan. 31, 2027. His base salary of $285,000 will remain the same, and his outside income from athletics-related activities will increase from $215,000 to $415,000.

Mansfield’s contract was extended through Jan. 31, 2029 and received a salary increase from $240,000 to $245,000 annually, increasing by an additional $5,000 on Feb. 1, 2026 and again on Feb. 1 of each contract year. His outside income from athletics-related engagements and activities will increase from $50,000 to $55,000 and increase by $5,000 on Feb. 1, 2026 and again on Feb. 1 of each contract year.

This comes after Mansfield led the volleyball team to the NCAA tournament in 2024, its first appearance since 2019.
