Four-time Emmy Award-winning comedian John Mulaney will visit Oklahoma City as a part of his “Mister Whatever” stand-up comedy tour.

Mulaney will perform at 8 p.m. Aug. 20 at the Oklahoma City Zoo Amphitheatre with a to-be-announced guest performer. Mulaney was originally set to end the tour on July 11 with a hometown show at Wrigley Field, making him the first comedian to perform at the historic Chicago venue.

The Oklahoma City date has a personal aspect as well. Mulaney has been in a relationship with actress and Oklahoma City native Olivia Munn since 2021, and the couple married in 2024. The OU alum gained prominence through her role in “The Newsroom.”

Mulaney has been recognized for his work as a writer and producer on “Saturday Night Live,” “Documentary Now!” and “Oh, Hello on Broadway.” In recent years, he has been the host, writer and executive producer of Netflix’s first live celebrity talk show “Everybody’s Live with John Mulaney,” a continuation of his show “Everybody’s in L.A.” In 2024, he starred in the Broadway play “All In: Comedy About Love.”

Tickets for the “Mister Whatever” Oklahoma City show are available online. A full list of tour dates are also available online.
