Although thousands of Sooner fans will soon pack the stands of the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, many will remain in the Norman area. Whether you’re staying in town to work or just relax, several bars and restaurants around Norman and Oklahoma City are hosting Red River Rivalry watch parties.
Truck Yard
For fans planning to go out and watch the game, Truck Yard in Oklahoma City will host an OU-Texas watch party with free admission for all ages. The game will be shown with sound on and DJ Terpenoid playing during breaks.
Food trucks and wings from Crispy Business will be available throughout the game, and prizes will be given away each quarter. Participants must be 21 or older to enter giveaways.

The Jones Assembly
Game day is on at The Jones Assembly this Saturday. With kickoff at 2:30 p.m., the restaurant will serve brunch and invite fans to stay and watch the game.
All-day specials including Bevo Burgers and Corny Dogs. The Jones Assembly is open 10 a.m. to 2 a.m. on Saturday at 901 W. Sheridan Ave. in Oklahoma City.
The Doghouse at Ole Red Tishomingo
Former OU quarterback Jamelle Holieway will host a Red River Rivalry watch party at The Doghouse at Ole Red in Tishomingo, a two-hour drive from campus. The watch party begins at 11 a.m.
The event includes a special meet and greet with Holieway, where fans can hear behind-the-scenes stories from his football career.
Tickets are available for $9 online. The Doghouse at Ole Red is open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday at 214 W. Main St. in Tishomingo.
The Standard
Located in the heart of Norman, The Standard is gearing up for this year's rivalry game with indoor and outdoor patio seating for up to 300 guests. Fans are welcome to bring their dogs to the patio to enjoy the game.
Gameday drink specials include $5 margaritas, $4 domestic drafts and $3 shots.
The Standard is open 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday with gameday viewing from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. at 315 E. Gray St.
Twenty6 Lounge
Twenty6 Lounge will offer free admission to watch the Red River Rivalry. The Lounge features 23 TVs with surround sound and will have $3 beer and $5 drink specials on game day.
With special OU-Texas hours, Twenty6 Lounge will be open 1 p.m. to 2 a.m. Saturday at 1009 N. Harvey Ave. in Oklahoma City.
The Garage Burgers & Beer
Check out The Garage in Norman for a casual place to grab lunch and watch the game. The restaurant offers a variety of food options, including tacos, burgers, salads and chicken, along with alcoholic drinks for guests 21 and older.
The Garage is open 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday at 307 E. Main St.
