Class of 2025 consensus five-star offensive lineman Michael Fasusi committed to Oklahoma on Aug. 21, but is set to visit Texas this weekend, per Rivals.com.

Texas was one of Fasusi’s top five schools before he announced his commitment to the Sooners. Oklahoma coach Brent Venables was asked about his policy of OU recruits visiting other schools during his weekly press conference on Tuesday.

“If you’re visiting other schools in the present moment, you’re not committed,” Venables said. “That’s what I would say.”

Venables was then asked if commits who visited other schools would get their offers pulled, which he said was not part of his policy. Venables then stated that his policy has not changed in recent years.

Fasusi is Oklahoma's top recruit of the 2025 class. The early signing period for college football will open on Dec. 4. Fasusi is set to join an Oklahoma offensive line that has given up the second most sacks nationally (41).
