Oklahoma linebacker Danny Stutsman plans to declare for the NFL draft, per a report from SoonerScoop.com on Wednesday night.

Stutsman, a junior, recorded 99 tackles — 16 for loss — and three sacks and took home an All-Big 12 First team selection.

Without Stutsman, the Sooners will be shorthanded at linebacker in the Alamo Bowl against Arizona on Dec. 28.

They'll likely rely on Jaren Kanak, Kip Lewis and Kobie McKinzie for most of the linebacker snaps. 

Stutsman, a former three-star recruit from Windermere, Florida, finishes his Oklahoma career with 261 tackles — 28 for loss — and seven sacks in 33 games.

He's the first OU player to declare for the NFL draft since the end of the regular season.
