OU landed an international commitment from the 2024 class on Thursday.

Daniel Akinkunmi, an NFL Academy prospect from London, chose the Sooners over Baylor, Clemson, Miami and Mississippi. At 6-foot-5, 320 pounds, Akinkunmi is rated a three-star by all four major recruiting sites.

He is ranked the No. 42 offensive tackle and No. 659 overall prospect in the 2024 class, per On3's Industry ranking. Akinkunmi joins three-star offensive tackle Isaiah Autry in OU's 2024 class, which ranks No. 8 nationally, according to On3's Team rankings.

The next chance for 2024 recruits to visit OU (6-0, 3-0 Big 12) is when it faces UCF (0-3 Big 12) at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 21 in Norman.
