Oklahoma football is expected to hire former Kansas State analyst Chuck Lillie as an assistant general manager, SoonerScoop.com reported on Monday. 

With the Sooners, Lillie will potentially be involved in the transfer portal and NIL, roster building, organization and player evaluations. During his four seasons with the Wildcats, he also played a role in recruiting, as Kansas State landed the 37th ranked and 42nd ranked class in the 2023 and 2024 recruiting cycle, respectively. 

Before his stint with Kansas State, Lille, who worked five seasons at Clemson while receiving his degree in sports communication, spent three years in recruiting. He also served as a preseason Pro Scouting Intern with the New York Giants in 2019 before returning to Clemson to serve as a playoff analyst during the same season.  

The announcement of Lillie’s intended arrival comes the day the spring transfer portal opens. 

OU will play its spring game at 1 p.m. Saturday at Gaylord Family - Oklahoma Memorial Stadium.
