A year ago Porter Moser denied rumors about interest in Notre Dame.
On Monday, the head coach did the same when asked about leaving Oklahoma for DePaul University.
“Same comment as last year,” Moser said before practice on Monday. “All rumor mill fodder.”

After spending 10 seasons with Loyola Chicago, Moser, who is an Illinois native, is no stranger to the university that was just a 13 minute drive away. However, DePaul fired head coach Tony Stubblefield midseason, hired former OU assistant Matt Brady as interim coach and is currently 3-20 overall and 0-12 in the Big East.
Moser struggled in his first two years at OU, and is yet to make the NCAA Tournament. But after a last place finish in conference play during the 2022-23 season, Moser, who has led OU to an 18-6 overall and 6-5 record in the Big 12, believes he has built the program he has been envisioning since he arrived in Norman in 2021.
“I’m just absolutely not even engaging in anything like that, 100%,” Moser said. “So excited about where we’re at with the team. It’s everything we tried to build for, is being in this position.”
