The OU-Auburn officiating crew failed to identify a “hideout tactic” on redshirt junior wide receiver Isaiah Sategna’s second-quarter touchdown, according to the Southeastern Conference.

According to the NCAA rulebook, “no simulated replacements or substitutions may be used to confuse opponents.” The SEC says the officiating crew should’ve given the Sooners a 15-yard unsportsmanlike conduct penalty from the previous spot.
“Appropriate accountability will be applied without additional comment,” the SEC said.
Sategna finished with a career-high 127 receiving yards while recording nine receptions in a 24-17 win over Auburn.
