Oklahoma football is set to add Taylor Redd to the staff as an assistant general manager, per ON3's Pete Nakos. Redd has most recently worked with Jake Rosenberg as a senior consultant for The Athletic Group, an agency for players, since July 2024.

Before Redd's time with Rosenberg, Redd served as an area scout for the New England Patriots from May 2018 to May 2024. During his time with the Patriots, Redd contributed to the team winning Super Bowl LIII. He also spent four years in different roles at Wake Forest from January 2014 to May 2018, finishing as a director of player personnel.

Redd will work directly with general manager Jim Nagy, who joined the Sooners on Feb. 26.
