OU football remained No. 8 in the College Football Playoff rankings following a 17-6 win over Missouri (7-4, 3-4).

As currently stands, the Sooners (9-2, 5-2 SEC) would host Notre Dame (9-2) in the first round on Dec. 19-20, and if it holds, the timing of the matchup would conflict with OU's December graduation ceremonies.

Next, the Sooners will face Louisiana State University (7-4, 3-4) at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday at Gaylord Family-Oklahoma Memorial Stadium
