In his career debut, freshman running back Tory Blaylock went down with an injured right shoulder after a 10-yard run during the third quarter. Blaylock was brought to the locker room shortly after and was replaced by sophomore Xavier Robinson.

Before his injury, Blaylock had eight carries for a total of 44 rushing yards and caught two passes for 18 yards.

In the second quarter, Blaylock scored his first career touchdown in his first collegiate game with a 5-yard rush into the end zone to give the Sooners a 21-point lead.
