Two nights after winning the three-point contest, five-star point guard and Oklahoma commit Trae Young showed off some impressive range at the McDonald's All-American Game.
The Norman native became the first Sooners' commit since Blake Griffin to participate in the premier event for high school players.
Getting the start for Team West, Young registered nine points, five assists and four rebounds in a 109-107 win. All three of his baskets came from well beyond the arc. He also dropped a few dimes to friend and Missouri commit Michael Porter Jr.
When Young arrives on campus for the Sooners, he'll bring big expectations with him. Oklahoma is coming off an 11-20 campaign, the first 20-loss season in school history and 10 losses by two-possessions or less.
