Oklahoma football: Jordan Thomas waived by Philadelphia Eagles

Jordan Thomas

Senior cornerback Jordan Thomas prepares to go in the Red River rivalry game Oct. 14.

Former Oklahoma defensive back Jordan Thomas was waived by the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday morning.

The news comes just three days after Thomas initially signed his rookie contract. The undrafted free agent was waived to make room for wide receiver Tim Wilson from East Stroudsburg.

While a Sooner, Thomas was projected as a top-round pick going into his junior season but was ultimately moved to special teams.
