Oklahoma senior corner Jordan Thomas set a new NFL Combine record for the three cone drill, posting a time of 6.28 seconds on Monday.

The previous record of 6.42 seconds was set by former Oregon wide receiver Jeff Maehl in 2011. At this year's combine, the next fastest time for the drill was 6.51 seconds.

Thomas also did well in the other agility drills, tying with Penn State's Grant Haley for the fastest speed in the 20-yard shuttle with a time of 3.94 seconds and posting the second fastest time in the 60-yard shuttle among the defensive backs with a time of 10.85 seconds.

However, not all the drills went in Thomas' favor. He posted the fewest number of bench press reps, 4, of anyone who participated in the exercise this year and recorded the third slowest 40-yard dash time in his position group.

The NFL Draft will take place April 26-28 in Arlington, Texas.
