Mixon's injury comes after Samaje Perine hurt his left ankle on the previous drive. He also joins linebacker Jordan Evans and defensive tackle Charles Walker as injured Sooners.

Mixon had three carries for four yards and three catches for 11 yards before leaving the game.

Third-string running back Daniel Brooks did not make the trip due to academic reasons. Perine re-entered the game after Mixon exited.
