Keeley Parks

Norman High's Keeley Parks during the OSSAA class 6A finals against Edmond North on March 11.

Norman High junior guard Keeley Parks scored a school-record 51 points in the Tigers’ (3-2) 63-61 overtime victory against Midwest City (3-1) in Norman on Friday evening.

Parks’ biggest basket came with less than three seconds left. She took an inbounds pass from half court to the basket, almost losing possession before putting in the game-winning layup.

Parks is ranked as a five-star recruit in the class of 2025 by ESPN and holds a host of offers, including from Oklahoma and Oklahoma State. She was one of 34 athletes that was invited to participate in the inaugural USA Basketball Women’s Junior National Team minicamp in Dallas back in April.

Parks’ performance pushed Norman High into the finals of the Joe Lawson Tournament, where they will face either Norman North or Putnam City North on Saturday evening at 6 p.m. in Norman.
