Blake Shelton

Country artist Blake Shelton has donated to the Children's Hospital Foundation in the past.

Country music singer-songwriter and Oklahoma native Blake Shelton was named ESPN’s College GameDay guest picker on Thursday.

Shelton, who is an Ada, Oklahoma, native will join the show’s anchor Rece Davis, alongside analysts Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit, Steve Coughlin, Desmond Howard, Pat McAfee and Nick Saban.

This is the first time GameDay has been in Norman since 2020 when OU played OSU, and the first time the show will have a live audience since its game in Norman against Notre Dame in 2012.

Shelton will pick the winner between No. 15 Oklahoma (3-0) and No. 6 Tennessee (3-0) for their game at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday at the Gaylord Family – Oklahoma Memorial Stadium.

ESPN College GameDay will go from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. on OU’s campus.
