Baker Mayfield sends message in light of Charleston shooting

Baker Mayfield

Junior quarterback Baker Mayfield looks to pass the ball during the spring football game on April 12, 2014. This years game will be on Saturday April 11, 2015.

Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield hasn't been shy lately from the limelight.

His dance moves went viral on social media, but there is a serious side to the junior quarterback who is competing for Trevor Knight's starting job.

In light of the recent Charleston, South Carolina shooting, Mayfield posted a fairly rational tweet venting his frustrations and calling for people to put an end to racial violence.

Mayfield, the easy-going, whip-dancing social media phenomenon, just wants everyone to get along. And he makes some great points in the note he left for his thousands of Twitter followers.
