Katy Guillen & the Drive with Caleb McGee, 8 p.m. Friday: Kansas City-based band Katy Guillen & the Drive will take the stage at Opolis featuring Norman-based musician Caleb McGee. The show is open to all ages, and tickets are available online for $8. Doors will open at 7 p.m.
Norman Christmas Holiday Parade, 6 p.m. Saturday: The city of Norman's annual holiday parade, themed "Twinkle in Toyland," will feature a lineup of floats and an appearance by OU gymnastics and coach K.J. Kindler. The parade will begin at Main Street and Pickard Avenue and will be followed by Winterfest on Main with festivities like a tree lighting, a drone show and pictures with Santa.
Smokey Motel, Cherry Laurel and Cruz, 8 p.m. Saturday: Oklahoma-based band Smokey Motel will take the stage at Opolis featuring Norman-based bands Cherry Laurel and Cruz. The show is open to all ages, and tickets can be purchased for $10. Doors will open at 7 p.m.
Norman Farm Market, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday: Head downtown and check out local vendors selling everything from fresh produce to handcrafted goods at The Well.
Saturday Morn at the Roastery, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday: Stop by Yellow Dog Coffee Company for a cup of Joe and a morning of live music by Norman-based world folk duo Arabesque.
Oklahoma Sooners vs. Alabama State Hornets women’s basketball, 1:30 p.m. Sunday: The Oklahoma Sooners women’s basketball team will face the Alabama State Hornets at the Lloyd Noble Center. Tickets are available online, and OU students get in free with a student ID.
Midwest HQ “Moment in Time” Launch Event, 7 p.m. to midnight Sunday: Celebrating the launch of its magazine, Midwest Creative Group will hold a night of style, art and creativity at The Wagon. The event will feature a fashion show spotlighting three regional designers and over 30 models as well as local vendors. Tickets are available online.

OU Hockey vs. UCO Rivalry Weekend, Friday-Saturday: OU hockey will face rival the University of Central Oklahoma on Friday and Saturday from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Arctic Edge Ice Arena. Adult tickets are $10, and student tickets are $5.
'Tis the Season at Scissortail Park, Friday-Sunday: Until Dec. 29, Scissortail Park will host holiday events and festivities, including holiday lights around the park. Saturday will feature the ‘Tis the Season Holiday Market from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Love’s Travel Stops Stage and The Promenade and a visit from Santa from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the North Trellis Garden. The Polar Express Train Ride, Friday-Sunday: Hosted by the Oklahoma Railway Museum, The Polar Express Train Ride will run on select dates until Dec. 29. The one-hour trip to meet Santa is set to the sounds of the motion picture soundtrack. On board, car hosts will work their way through the coach and punch golden tickets before dancing chefs serve hot chocolate, recreating the classic story’s experience. After a reading of “The Polar Express,” Santa will board the train to greet passengers. Tickets are available online from $44.
Saints Santa Run, Saturday: As part of Devon Energy’s Downtown in December, the Saints Santa Run will begin at 8:45 a.m. Saturday at the SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital in Midtown Oklahoma City. The festive 5k event is welcome to all ages and pets and will also feature a costume contest, one-mile fun run and kids’ dash. Registration is $35, and participants can pick up packets from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Friday or 8:45 to 9:45 a.m. Saturday.
Lyric Theatre’s “A Christmas Carol,” 8 p.m. Friday, 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. Saturday, 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Sunday: A Lyric Theatre Tradition, experience the story of Ebenezer Scrooge and his ghastly encounters with Christmas Past, Present and Future at Lyric Theatre’s “A Christmas Carol.” Two separate casts will perform throughout the show’s run, and tickets are available on the Lyric Theatre website.
Sammy Obeid at Bricktown Comedy Club, 4 p.m. Sunday: Known for his world record of performing comedy 1,001 nights in a row, Sammy Obeid has been featured on NBC's “Last Comic Standing” and “America's Got Talent,” TBS’s “Conan” and is the host of “100 Humans” on Netflix. Obeid will take the stage at Bricktown Comedy Club, and doors will open at 3 p.m. All attendees must be 18 or over with a valid ID and must purchase at least two items from the menu.
Sleigh Bells Market, noon to 5 p.m. Sunday: Event, festival, fundraiser and trade show production Revolve Productions will hold its eighth year of the Sleigh Bells Market in the Oklahoma City Farmers Market District. The market will feature holiday, vintage, hand made, gift, packaged foods and boutique vendors on both floors of the Oklahoma City Farmers Market Event Venue.
LIVE! On the Plaza: Holiday Block Party, noon to 4 p.m. Sunday: LIVE! on the Plaza is the Plaza District's free monthly art walk featuring art shows, live entertainment, food and local shopping. To celebrate the holiday season, the Plaza District will hold a festive block party complete with holiday decorations, treats and activities for all ages.
