Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers was founded in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, in 1996. The restaurant specializes in chicken fingers, but every devoted Cane’s fan knows about their specialty sauce.
According to Cane’s website, “Cane’s Sauce is tangy with a little bit of spice and full of flavor. We use our own proprietary blend of premium seasonings and spices in our Sauce and our Restaurant General Managers make a new batch every day in each Raising Cane’s kitchen.” The site also states this sauce is top secret – known only by Cane’s general managers.
The secrecy of the actual recipe might be true, but I created a recipe that tastes comparable to Cane’s Sauce – even more so than the popular recipes elsewhere on the Internet. Enjoy!
