No. 8 Oklahoma (6-0) defeated DePaul (2-4) 85-62 on Monday at Lee’s Family Forum in their first game in the Ball Dawgs Classic in Henderson, Nevada.

The Sooners will look to extend their winning record in the showcase against No. 13 Duke (6-1) at 1 p.m., on Wednesday.

  • Senior guard Payton Verhulst had 18 points, seven rebounds and nine assists.

  • Redshirt senior forward Skylar Vann had 11 points, three rebounds and one assist.

  • Redshirt senior center Liz Scott had 14 points, nine rebounds and two assists.

  • Junior center Raegan Beers had 17 points and eight rebounds.

  • Oklahoma has notched double-digit turnovers in all games this season. Against DePaul, OU turned over the ball 23 times.

  • In the first half, Oklahoma had 10 personal fouls. By the end of the game, the Sooners had 24 fouls. In the fourth quarter sophomore forward Sahara Williams fouled out.

  • Against the Blue Demons, the Sooners shot 50% going 32 of 64 from the floor.

  • Oklahoma shot 30% from the three-point line, going 6 of 20. Verhulst made four of the Sooners' six three-pointers.

  • From the free throw line, Oklahoma went 15 of 27. Beers went 4 of 5 behind the free throw line.
