OU redshirt junior wide receiver Javonnie Gibson has entered the transfer portal, according to On3’s Hayes Fawcett.

Gibson, a native of Opelousas, Louisiana, joined OU after a season at Arkansas-Pine Bluff, which followed two years at Division II Arkansas–Monticello. At Arkansas-Pine Bluff, he totaled 70 receptions for 1,215 yards and nine touchdowns.

However, he suffered a broken leg late in the spring, ahead of the 2025 season, which sidelined him for the first four games. Gibson debuted against Kent State and appeared in every remaining game, earning six starts. He finished the season with 18 receptions for 199 yards and one touchdown.

The transfer portal opened on Jan. 2 and will close on Jan. 16.
