Oklahoma landed a commitment from former Louisville defensive lineman Jermayne Lole via the transfer portal on Monday.

Lole began his college career with Arizona State in 2018 and tallied 122 tackles, 11 sacks and two forced fumbles in three seasons with the Sun Devils. The 6-foot-3, 310-pounder missed the 2021 season with an injury before transferring to Louisville and missing the bulk of 2022 with another injury.

Lole returned to the field in 2023 with the Cardinals and recorded 19 tackles, five for loss, and 1.5 sacks in 12 appearances and nine starts. Lole, who will be playing his seventh season of college football, will pair his experience with the likes of sixth-year defensive tackles Da'Jon Terry and Davon Sears. 

The Sooners lost defensive lineman Jacob Lacey earlier this spring after he was forced to retire from football due to blood clots. Here is a full list of OU's offseason roster moves:
