Oklahoma women's gymnastics: Sooners earn No. 1 overall seed, heading to Minneapolis

After winning their seventh consecutive Big 12 championship, the Sooners will be heading to the NCAA regional in Minneapolis, Minnesota, as the No. 1 seed alongside other Big 12 teams Denver and Iowa State.

The Sooners completed the regular season as No. 1 overall and only had one loss at Florida by a small margin.

With the help of Sophomore Maggie Nichols, Big 12 gymnast of the year, freshman Anastasia Webb, Big 12 newcomer of the year and Stefani Catour, Big 12 specialist of the year, the Sooners have been able to work their way to the No. 1 spot every single week.

The NCAA Regional will take place on Saturday, April 7 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, as the Sooners go for their ninth consecutive regional championship.
