No. 9 Oklahoma (5-0) defeated UNLV (4-2) 88-58 on Friday at Thomas & Mack Center.

Biggest Takeaways
From the beginning of the game, the Lady Rebels played with aggression, forcing the Sooners to turn the ball over 14 times. UNLV forced Oklahoma to play hard causing OU to commit 21 personal fouls.
In the beginning of the game, both teams exchanged baskets. At halftime, OU led 39-38. In the second half of the game, the Sooners’ defense held the Lady Rebels to 20 points.
In the first half Skylar and Zya had a combined total of 23 points and five 3-pointers. By the end, the two had a total of 29 points.
After struggling behind the free throw line against Wichita State, Oklahoma went 6-of-8 from the line, shooting 75%.
