Sandell scored on 23 of his 24 field goal attempts this season, including all seven of his attempts from 50 yards or more. Sandell was also a perfect 32-for-32 on point-after attempts in 2025.
Sandell was also named to the All-SEC first team Tuesday and is one of three finalists for the Lou Groza Award, given to college football’s best kicker.
The Sooners will kick off the first round of the College Football Playoffs against Alabama at 7 p.m. Dec. 19 at Gaylord Family-Oklahoma Memorial Stadium on ABC.
