Oklahoma women and men's basketball teams moved up in the AP Poll on Monday, with the women moving up one ranking and the men improving by two places.  

Oklahoma (No. 9 women, No. 12 men) is one of nine dually ranked programs across the country and one of five in the SEC. Other dually ranked schools include UCLA (No. 1 women, No. 22 men), UConn (No. 7 women, No. 11 men), Duke (No. 14 women, No. 4 men), Tennessee (No. 15 women, No. 1 men) Kentucky (No. 16 women, No. 10 men), Michigan State (No. 19 women, No. 18 men), Alabama (No. 20 women, No. 5 men) and Mississippi (No. 25 women, No. 16 men).

After a 111-65 win over Omaha, Oklahoma women's basketball improved to No. 9. This is the women’s second time ranked No. 9 this season and 15th consecutive home win, making it the fourth longest win streak in program history. 

Against Omaha, the women improved their overall and three-point shooting percentages. The women made 41 of 84 attempts from the field (48.8%) and 13 of 35 three-point attempts (37.1%). The Sooner women also had 32 assists, their second highest total this season, and currently lead the nation in assists per game with 23.5.

Junior center Raegan Beers tied her career high of 28 points, going 11-for-13. Beers also had nine rebounds and one assist. Sisters, redshirt senior forward Skylar Vann and freshman guard Zya Vann, both scored in double digits on Sunday, combining for 22 points, 13 assists and 11 rebounds. Skylar Vann finished with 12 points, eight rebounds and eight assists, while Zya Vann finished with 10 points, three rebounds and five assists. 

Next, Oklahoma women's basketball (11-1) hosts New Mexico State (7-5) at 4 p.m. on Sunday at the Lloyd Noble Center on SEC Network+.

The men's rise to No. 12 in the Poll came after beating Michigan 87-86 in the Jumpman Invitational and a 89-66 win against Central Arkansas. The two wins extended the men's win streak to 12 games with one nonconference game remaining before the Sooners’ first season in the SEC.

The Sooner men are one of four remaining undefeated teams in men's college basketball. No. 1 Tennessee (11-0), No. 6 Florida (12-0) and Drake (11-0) round out the rest of the unbeaten teams. Seven SEC schools are in the top 15 of this week’s AP Poll for men's basketball, and the conference has 10 total schools in the Poll. 

Against Central Arkansas, the men made 33 of 68 shots (48.5%) from the field and 10 of 29 from three-point range (34.5%). The men also had 19 assists as a team.

Senior guard Duke Miles led the way with 29 points, shooting 11-for-17 from the field. Miles also had three rebounds and three assists. Freshman guard Jeremiah Fears recorded 19 points, three rebounds and five assists, while senior forward Jalon Moore had 17 points, five rebounds and one assist.  

Oklahoma men's basketball (12-0) is back in action against Prairie View A&M (1-11) at 1 P.M. on Sunday at the Lloyd Noble Center on SEC Network+.
